The Lighthouse Preschool & Learning Center of Escondido offers a fun & educational private preschool program for ages 2-5! We offer a teacher facilitated environment, with a focus on reading, language, math, science, art, music & movement, dramatic play, and the communication of feelings and ideas. Through hands on learning, the children learn best when involved in play. Compassion, self respect, conflict resolution and communication are a few things the children can experience! Our Escondido preschool program is based on the needs and interests of the children, providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our goal is to get children ready for kindergarten through hands on learning experiences with other children, teachers, and themselves!
We have a Family Day Care License that offers a Preschool Curriculum! It is taught by the owner,
Deb Robey and her certified staff, whose passions are teaching children!
We're here to make a difference in their lives! We believe in empowering them to learn how to make their own decisions, and to learn and grow in a community with other children.
Our teacher ratio is 1 teacher to every 6 children. We embrace the idea that children can have more
individual attention, be nurtured more in a much smaller environment,
and hopefully there are less germies than larger schools.
We offer a peaceful atmosphere where a kid can be a kid!
We're nestled in the hills of San Pasqual Valley, overlooking the community of Eagle Crest in Escondido. We are approx. 1 mile off of 78, (about 3 miles from the intersection of Bear Valley and San Pasqual Valley)
on the way to the Wild Animal Park. We welcome all like-minded families from the Escondido area.

Our 2 year old daughter started attending the Lighthouse Preschool a few months ago, and it has been amazing watching her blossom under Ms. Deb's care! She loves her teachers and the activities they plan. I love the warm, welcoming and secure feeling that my daughter has. The school is always clean, inviting, and parents are welcome to "hang out" and observe or participate in the learning activities. The teachers pay very close attention to the individual needs and levels for each child, and tailor their lessons and experiences to ensure they continue to grow and develop. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experiences we have with The Lighthouse Preschool. -Angee

WOW! I love this school! ...
Every morning my son awakes and asks if he can go to preschool! He brings home artwork that he's so proud of. He's been learning his sounds and letters and sings songs that go with it. The hardest part is when I pick him up and he doesn't want to leave!I feel very comfortable that he is safe, learning and having fun while I'm at work.Thank you Miss Debbi for providing a place where you are tuned in to the children; thank you for your love and for your passion in children! -Julianna
